On Saturday 12th October 2024, Clean Cuisine Co. proudly partnered with The Good Shepherd in Wolverhampton to serve over 100 free hot meals to the charity’s service users.
The Good Shepherd is a well-established Wolverhampton-based charity, supporting people experiencing homelessness since 1972. Their work focuses on ending homelessness, supporting recovery, and creating long-term pathways out of poverty across the city.
As a local catering company, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. We reached out to Lee, Operations Manager at The Good Shepherd, to see if we could support their service users by providing meals free of charge.
We were delighted when the opportunity was welcomed. Serving Fresh, Warming Meals from Our Mobile Catering Trailer We travelled to The Good Shepherd’s Wolverhampton base with our mobile catering trailer, cooking and serving fresh food on site.
On the day, we served: Fiery Jerk Chicken Curry Vegan Chickpea & Potato Curry Both meals were hearty, nutritious, and perfect for a cold autumn day—designed to provide comfort as well as nourishment.
Supporting Local People Through Food It was a privilege to meet the dedicated staff and volunteers at The Good Shepherd, along with the incredible people who enjoyed our food.
Being able to support a charity making such a positive impact in Wolverhampton was genuinely rewarding. We’re proud to support our local community through catering, and we look forward to working with The Good Shepherd again in the future.
